Pilot service 2 of 10
Stale Estimate Follow-Up List
A weekly list of estimates that have gone quiet, the dollar value waiting, and a draft follow-up for each.
Estimates go out, the crew gets busy, and nobody follows up until the customer has hired someone else.
Pilot. This is a pilot: a small, hands-on version of the service while we learn what works for buyers. It is not a finished product. A person reviews every report before it goes to you.
Ready for a paid pilot. We ran this pilot from start to finish on invented test data and read the result (2026-10-11); a person still reviews every report before it goes to you. The terms are below.
Who it is for
Contractors and home-service companies that send ten or more estimates a month (remodelers, roofers, HVAC, landscapers, painters).
What you get
- Every open estimate with no contact for 7 days or more, grouped 7–13, 14–29 and 30+ days, with the dollar value waiting in each group.
- A suggested next step for each estimate.
- A draft follow-up email or text for each, naming the job and estimate number, for you to review and send.
- A list of estimates not chased, and why: won, lost, or asked not to be contacted. Estimates sent more than 60 days ago stay in the main list, marked to confirm whether to re-quote, with no draft.
See a sample made from invented data, produced by the same code a pilot uses, with the quality checks it passed.
The pilot
- Up to 200 open estimates.
- Four weekly lists, each from that week's export.
What you send
- An export of open estimates (customer, contact, job, amount, date sent, status, last contact date) from your estimating software or a spreadsheet.
- Anyone who asked not to be contacted.
- How you sign off your messages.
What it is not
- Amber does not contact your customers. You send any follow-up yourself.
- Drafts never change your price or offer a discount.
- No edits to your estimating software or CRM.
Pilot price
$249 for four weekly lists. A test price for the pilot. It may change after the first pilots.
Nothing is charged on this page. If the pilot fits, we confirm the scope and the price with you by email before you send any files, and the delivery date before you pay. You pay nothing until we have checked that your files can be read.
Pilot terms
- Scope. Up to 200 open estimates. Four weekly lists, each from that week's export.
- Price. $249 for four weekly lists. A test price for the pilot. It may change after the first pilots.
- Turnaround. Target: the first list within 3 business days after we have your payment and files we can read, then each following one within 2 business days of that week's export. We confirm the delivery date in writing before you pay; it is a target, not a promise.
- Payment. You pay once, after the scope, the price and the delivery date have been agreed with you in writing and we have checked that your files can be read. We send one payment request by email, and your report is prepared and sent once the payment arrives. Nothing is charged on this page, and nothing is charged until you pay that request.
- Refunds. If we cannot produce your report from the files you send, and you cannot send others we can read, you get a full refund. Once a report has been delivered there is no refund, because the work has been done. If your pilot has more than one delivery, the refund covers the deliveries not yet made. If only some of your files can be read, the report covers those and lists the rest as not read.
- Delivery. Your report arrives by email, reviewed by a person: a web page you can open in any browser, and the lists as spreadsheet (CSV) files. We send nothing to your customers and change nothing in your systems.
- Your data. We use your files only to prepare your report. We keep them and the report for up to 60 days so we can answer questions, then delete them, or sooner if you ask. We do not sell your data.
- Your side. By sending files you confirm they are yours to share with us.
Ask about this pilot
Send only what the pilot needs. Your files are used only to prepare your report, are kept for up to 60 days after the pilot so we can answer questions, and are deleted sooner when you ask. We never log into your systems for a pilot.
